Clear aligners can correct many of the same orthodontic concerns as traditional braces but are more limited because they are not ideal for complex cases. We can use clear aligner treatment for the following issues:

What is the clear aligner process?

Receiving clear aligners, while different to braces, follows a similar process:

1. We start with discussing your concerns and doing an in-depth physical examination of your mouth and teeth, taking X-rays and impressions too.
2. Using your impressions, we will create a series of custom aligners designed to move your teeth gradually and precisely.
3. You will wear each set for about 1-2 weeks before moving on to the next set.
4. Once you've completed all sets of aligners, you'll have beautiful, straight teeth. However, we may recommend a retainer to maintain your new smile.

How long do I need to wear my clear aligners for each day?

You should wear your clear aligners for 20-22 hours each day for the best results. They should only be taken out for oral hygiene, eating and drinking. The total length of your treatment will depend on the complexity of your case, but the average treatment time is around 1 year.
